i see a droplet on the page
is it of sorrow or of rage?
i continue to hold my breath
on still for a moment trying to forget
every page i turn reading through the lines
as dews slowly filled my eyes
i can't help but just to let go
of this emotion out of control
a wind gushed through each leaf
page by page was a mark of grief
as i realized turning away wouldn't erase
with what had happened; i should face
and so with all my courage i sought confrontation
i asked help from God to have no hesitations...

now i'm still trying to understand another life's struggle
that i know
will pass...
